The ClearLift laser also known as the Q switch laser, is a non-ablative approach to laser skin tightening and pigment reduction. Unlike the Fraxel laser, this laser is painless, leaves the skin intact, and requires zero down time.
ClearLift works by stimulating new collagen growth that lifts, tightens, and plumps fine lines and wrinkles. As well, it helps tighten and shrink pores. The new collagen is stimulated by heating the skin deep beneath the surface (up to 3mm) while leaving the epidermis intact. This method makes the treatment literally painless for you. When you leave your appointment your skin might be a little pink, but you will be able resume your daily activities.
We recommend a series of three treatments, two weeks apart and one Rejuvapen treatment with your first ClearLift for optimal results. Rejuvapen is a micro-needling treatment that targets new collagen growth by creating tiny injuries to the skin thereby stimulating the skin to rebuild itself. Our clients are the happiest with their results when combining Rejuvapen with their ClearLift series. Please keep in mind that it takes time for collagen to grow. This process can take up to three months. How to Prepare For Your TreatmentFive days before your treatment please stop the use of any topical Retinol, Retin-A, Tretinoin, Hydroquinone, acids such as salicylic or glycolic, and any other sun sensitive products including prescription acne medication. The use of these products can cause adverse effects such as hyperpigmentation, burns and/or petechiae.
long do the results last?
varies from person to person. With the skin tightening procedure you are building collagen, so it will last as long as other collagen in your body. Statistically, you lose about 2% of collagen per year.
- Results will last the longest when you use medical grade skincare and Vitamin C. For optimal results avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily. Keep in mind sun exposure breaks down collagen.
long is the appointment?
- Your appointment will take as little as 30 minutes. Actual treatment time is around 20 minutes.
- Most clients say they do not experience any pain, only a gentle heat.

Say goodbye to the effects of sun damage, rosacea, broken capillaries, hyperpigmentation, and more. With the innovative DVL photofacial/ fotofacial procedure, gentle skin rejuvenation is now easier than ever. DVL photorejuvenation is the latest in modern dermatology, allowing patients to transform red, blotchy skin into a radiant complexion. If you suffer from any of these problems, photofacial/fotofacial treatments may be the dermatological approach you've been looking for. What is DVLA photofacial, or “fotofacial,” is a 30-minute procedure in which intense pulses of light are used to penetrate deep into the skin. DVL photorejuvenation then causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness, brown discoloration, and capillaries. The procedure involves only minimal discomfort, while the redness and swelling that sometimes occur after treatment disappear shortly. Most benefits of a photofacial/fotofacial occur gradually in the weeks following treatment.
Who Is Not a Good Candidate for Intense Pulsed Light Treatment?People with tanned or naturally dark skin sometimes experience changes in skin pigmentation after a photofacial treatment. African-Americans and people of Greek and Italian descent, for example, may wish to discuss possible side effects with a dermatologist before opting for this procedure. Additionally, people who are taking the medication Accutane® should not have a photofacial until at least six months after they stop using the drug. Pregnant women should also postpone treatment until after they give birth.
How to Prepare for your treatment
Avoid sun prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to appointment and 2 weeks after. stop the use of retinols, retin-A, Hydraquinone, and any other sun sensitive topical and oral medications. Downtime
The recovery time from this skin procedure is often very short, as there is very little damage done to the skin during treatment. Depending on the skin malady you are seeking to remedy as well as your skin type, the redness that is present following the procedure may persist for a longer or shorter period of time. The side effects of a photofacial treatment dissipate within a few hours for many patients. For some patients, however, the redness or dark spots may take a week to fade. Patients treated for severe acne sometimes experience longer recovery times, though they are often amazed by the results when the side effects wear off.Pricing per treatment

Chest $1050Virtually Painless Laser Hair RemovalOne of the most popular and effective cosmetic treatments available today is laser hair removal. It has gained wide acceptance as the gold standard for the permanent reduction of unwanted hair on the face, chest, back, extremities, and private areas. Utilizing cooling techniques and advanced technology, DVL laser hair treatments are now available for all skin colors and skin types and with little to no pain. This new technology allows us to treat your hair quicker than than most lasers in the market and the best part is it is considerably more comfortable than other lasers. Instead of targeting the hair inch by inch causing long and painful treatments, we can treat the areas in motion by spreading a mild heat through out. You don’t have to dread your laser hair treatments ever again! How it works
- Highly concentrated light energy is utilized to target the pigment in hair follicles under the skin. The light is absorbed by the pigment in hair follicles, which results in destruction of the follicle and elimination of the hair. Therefore, if the hair is lighter than your skin than this treatment will not be effective.
- Gray or blonde hair will not be affected. Hair removal lasers are attracted to pigment and there is not sufficient pigment in these types of hair.
The importance of multiple treatments
Risks of Laser Hair RemovalWhile laser hair removal is considered relatively safe, certain risks exist. Of these the most significant are pigment changes, where the skin may become darker or lighter. While pigment changes usually do not occur, they are more likely to develop in darker skinned individuals. Pigment changes typically fade in 1-6 months, and are rarely permanent.
- Hair grows in cycles. At any point in time, about 15% of hair follicles are actively growing. It is the actively growing follicles (that are producing pigment) that are successfully treated by a single treatment.
- To effectively treat as many follicles as possible, treatment must be repeated multiple times. On average, approximately 5-6 treatments are needed 4-6 weeks apart.
Other risks of laser hair removal include temporary swelling, crusting, or blistering of the skin. Permanent scarring is rare. How to Prepare for Treatment
To minimize the risk of pigment changes, it is important to avoid prolonged sun exposure and artificial tanning products for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. You should also avoid electrolysis, plucking and waxing the hair for 4 weeks prior to treatment, as these techniques temporarily remove the hair follicle that is targeted by the laser and limit the effectiveness of the treatment. You will need to shave before the treatment, as it is the hair follicle below the skin surface that needs to be treated, not the visible hair above.

While it’s normal for our face to lose volume as we age, it isn’t something you have to live with. With the right practitioner, you can simply recreate natural contours and definition without the need for invasive surgery. Similar to other cosmetic filler treatments such as Juvederm, Voluma, Belotero and Radiesse, Restylane is injected into the tissues to gently plump the skin and create a more youthful facial profile.Who can benefit from Restylane filler
Restylane is a cosmetic treatment suitable for a wide range of people who have lost facial definition due to aging. In addition to adding volume it can can soften fine lines and wrinkles. When injected into the cheeks it can help soften nasolabial folds and soften the jawline. If you have lost volume in the lips, Restylane silk can help restore that youthful pout you had in your twenties. It also helps soften and sometimes erase those pesky lines around the mouth. If you were not born with the contours you always wanted, they can easily be created without losing that natural look you desire. Here at Lorena and Luca Spa, we pride ourselves on creating a natural and refreshed look for our patients every time.
How Restylane works
Restylane is injected via a fine needle or cannula which also contains lidocaine to help you manage any discomfort. This technique ensures that it successfully adds volume to the area while supporting and smoothing the overlying skin. The treatment can take anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes, varying on the treatment area. While mild tenderness, bruising and swelling may be visible after the procedure, these side effects will subside within 2-7 days. We use a special technique and needle that minimizes the chance of bruising, swelling, and discomfort by 90%. As well we can numb the area prior to treatment if requested.
The volumizing effects of Restylane will last between 6 and 18 months depending on the filler used and your own metabolism. We only use Hyaluronic acid fillers here at Lorena Luca Spa. Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced and broken down by the body making it a safe and reversible choice for volume.
Before you treatment
To reduce the chance of swelling and bruising please avoid Asprin, NSAIDS such as ibuprofen, prescription blood thinners (check with your doctor first), garlic, vitamin E, Ginkoba Biloba, alcohol, and cigarettes 48 hours prior to injection. Taking arnica can help with bruising. If you are prone to cold sores please take a prophylactic medication prior to treatment. If you have a heart valve, antibiotic medication will need to be taken prior to treatment. Avoid Retin-A and Retinol 2 days prior and 2 days after injection.
Tired of those facial wrinkles? Dysport and Botox will help you soften those lines and even prevent them from appearing at all. This popular procedure is a safe and effective treatment in which the muscle movement responsible for facial wrinkles is restricted. The treatment helps soften wrinkles resulting in a smoother, more youthful and relaxed relaxed appearance. Wrinkles are created by movement so by softening the movement, you soften the wrinkles.
The procedure is quite simple and usually takes about fifteen minutes. Anesthesia is not necessary, although a topical numbing cream is optional. Using a very fine needle the neuromodulator will be directly injected into the appropriate muscles.
Benefits of Botox and Dysport
- Treatments are very quick
- Almost no recovery time needed
- Lasts about 3-4 months
- Starts working in 2-3 days for dysport and 7-10 with Botox
How do they work
Once injected into facial muscles, it blocks the signals from the nerve to the muscles, thereby reducing muscle activity and improving the wrinkles and lines. What is the difference between Botox and Dysport
Botox and Dysport are very similar neuromodulators, but there are a few differences. First, Dysport kicks in on day 2 or 3 rather than 7 or 10. Also, clients say they feel it gives them a more natural look rather than Botox. As well, most clients claim it lasts longer. Is the procedure painful
The treatment involves very little pain, though patients may experience some minor, brief discomfort. A cold pack or anesthetic cream may be used if the patient wishes to numb the treatment area prior to injection. How to prepare for my treatment
